My Health KC Blog:

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend the Living in Vitality Conference—an annual event sponsored by Shawnee Mission Health and dedicated to inspire women to live a healthier life physically, mentally and spiritually. If you followed along with my stories a few weeks ago, you probably caught the highlights of my day - I got to try protein paleo bites made by Evolve Paleo and had a mini massage from Sunlight Day Spa. I learned more about a couple of really awesome local businesses and heard messages delivered by several powerful speakers that left me feeling inspired, motivated and refueled. The Living in Vitality conference was a wonderful event that benefits all women of the Kansas City Community, and has a little something for everyone! Topics covered at the conference ranged from nutrition and wellness to self-care, as well as mental and physical health (and more!). It’s safe to say I thoroughly enjoyed my experience from start to finish.   It was well worth the time out from my busy schedule—I will definitely be back next year!
